Major Course Assignment Information:  Case Study Presentation

Purpose:  The purpose of a case study is to develop and exercise your own skills and judgment. You are no longer a spectator, but an active participant.

Step One:  Determine which case study you are responsible for presenting.

The case studies are numbered 1-15.  Your case study is numbered the same as the chapter you presented in class.  For example, if your chapter presentation was Chapter 5.  Your case study is patient #5.
Step Two:  Obtain & READ the case history documentation on your patient and the supporting diagnostic criteria.
Two critical pieces of information is provided to you:  (1) the case history of your patient and (2) the diagnostic criteria for your patient's condition.  This information will be distributed during class.
Step Three:  Prepare your presentation to be given at next case conference (this is the date that the chapter quiz would be due).
After you've read the information on your patient, prepare for your oral presentation by visiting some links on Oral Presentations.   Be sure to follow the patient case study format provided.  It is provided under the sub-heading "Oral Presentations."
Step Four:  Attend class and present your case study.

See the course schedule for due dates.  Late presentations are not permitted whatever the reason.
